Drew Gonshorowski is Senior Fellow in Means-Tested Programs at the Fiscal Lab on Capitol Hill, where he leads the Lab's analysis of Medicaid and other means-tested spending. He most recently served as Director of the Division of Medicaid and Long-Term Care for the State of Nebraska, where he led efforts to modernize the state's eligibility, encounter processing, and program integrity systems. Before that he was a Senior Research Fellow at the Paragon Health Institute, providing technical assistance on federal and state Medicaid policy to state agencies, the Congressional Budget Office, and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, and earlier spent a decade at The Heritage Foundation building large health care and Social Security microsimulation models. Drew holds a Master of Science in economics from Suffolk University and a Bachelor of Science in economics from Hillsdale College.
